A beautiful and well maintained garden with a fountain, a war memorial and a variety of plants and trees. The west side contains a dedicated area for dog exercising

I recently visited what I believe to be the best garden in Islington. It was clear to see that the volunteers had put in a tremendous amount of work to transform this area into a beautiful and inviting space. I was particularly impressed by how dog-friendly the garden was, with lots of space for our furry friends to run around and play.

The volunteers were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and it was clear that they had a real passion for their work. They had created a nature trail for kids to explore, which was both educational and fun. I thought it was a great touch, and it really added to the overall experience.

The upper lawn was particularly impressive and would make a perfect location for a small kid's birthday party. The space was prestigious and well-maintained, and I could see it being a hit with both kids and adults alike.

Overall, I was thoroughly impressed by the work of the volunteers in turning this once uninviting area into a beautiful and well-loved garden. Their passion and dedication were evident in every detail of the space, and it was clear that they had turned an eyesore into a true local gem. Always welcoming to well behaved dogs. Separate area for children. No grass in dog area. Well maintained. Secure gates and most people do shut them. Water bowls/water freely available for dogs. Residents parking in roads around.

Always take my dog there, lovely park, besides some irresponsible dog owners dont clean up after their dogs

I used to go here in the morning during lockdown to get some exercises. There's a tarmac circle around flower beds where people can jog around or walk dogs.
