You can launch your Oru (or any kayak) from here. At high tide you can paddle through some cool channels between the reeds. We mostly have turned right after we launched.

If you want to cover more ground, find a friend and do a one way trip starting at Mill Creek and ending at Laurel Park.

Either way, with a tap for rinsing your boat, plus a Portapotty and plenty of parking, this spot is a great local place to get your kayak wet.

Good ramp. It can get muddy on the ramp at times depending on the tide. One can launch/load by themselves, but a two person crew completely avoids getting muddy or wet.

Warning: PWCs have been banned from launching here.
Very nice boat and kayak launch. Also has a fresh water hookup to flush out.
