Even if my faith is damn near non-existent, the people here are a pleasure to be around. My mother enjoyed her time here before she passed.

Healthy doctrine based 100% on the Bible, you see people of all lifestyles and races, the fellowship is with open arms, healthy and sincere.

A body of believers that welcome with open arms! Everyone's goal is the same, worshiping
Christ and doing whatever possible for their community.

A great community and a solid biblical foundation. From the day I first entered into there and since I have felt like nothing less than family. Since being a member at the church I have been able to truly experience what it means to grow alongside other Christians and know what it really means to spread good news to broken people. It's not just about reaching those outside the church but by building up and edifying those inside as well so that we may know the love of Christ and be able to share it with those outside of the church that we interact with in our daily lives. Pastor John gives solid biblical teaching and the community is welcoming, loving, and relentless in their pursuit to live life with anyone willing to share it. When it talks about bearing each other's burden in the Bible, this place is a good example of that. This is a church FAMILY!

I never thought I would be able to call any church home when I left a mega church sounded on the Bible and solid theology on Chicago to move down to Texas. The Lord has never proven me more wrong.

This community is living, active, and deep. They are ready to get messy with you, walk hand and hand in your good and bad times, encourage and admonish you. The church is prone to cater to the masses so the message doesn't offend but Vertical Life Church is founded on the Word of God unapologeticlly and also with abounding grace. The Spirit is so active in the people I've met here and the Moto they preach is "good news for broken people".

Heartfelt worship and an elder board of very spirit lead and open/honest leaders. Firm on the Scriptures and all are encouraged to be participants, not just passive watchers.

Through this community, the Lord has opened my eyes to what living in the Church (capital C) is all about, including being open in your repentance and messy dirty struggles for the Lord to transform your heart into the reflection of his son.

I'm made some of my strongest friendships here and am proud to call it home!

I missed going here so much. I didn't realize it until I came back this past Sunday. It's like coming home
