Rainbow Beach Park

I've been coming to this beach ⛱️🏖️ since 89 when my dad used to play racket ball/hand ball near the park by the beach. I've never had any problems or been concerned about my safety because I stay to myself and I mind the business that pays me. Parking is always ample and there are two separate lots. The CPD is laid back and they only really have an issue when the parking lot is packed beyond maximum capacity...other than that it's a whole vibe and that's why I Love my city! 💕

Ghetto!!!! You need more police over here. I was with my grandkids trying to enjoy the beautiful weather. On our way to take them to the bathroom there was some guys blocking the entrance from the beach to the pathway. One of them was rolling up a blunt right there out in the open. After I said excuse me can we get through he took a but to move out of the way. The aroma of Marijuana was very strong and over by the concourse area. There were lots of adults drinking and smoking Marijuana. This is the first and very last time we visit. If I can give a negative star I would.

A place of peace especially at night and if you go at the right time ✨

Usually it’s a bit dirty closer to the restrooms and the sand areas, and the tables and parking lot, at night even in the day sometimes the people play extreme loud rap music , Chicago juke music, drill music, and even Latino music in which wouldn’t be a problem if they bass wasn’t so loud and the people weren’t always littering with trash cans literally all around. And some of the animal owners don’t pick up their animals poop. Other than that, the few people who make it a wonderful beach are the reasons it’s still a nice beach

A lovely urban beach with a pristine view of the Chicago skyline. A large parking lot is available, and the paths are well maintained, with many benches overlooking the lake.

So beautiful and really nice restrooms. Very easy to get to.

Clear water, sandy beach lake Michigan is just fascinating😎
