Great view from the summit!
The scenery is absolutely breathtaking with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and the sea.

Paid parking is available at the Summit Cable Car, making it convenient for visitors.

There's also one free parking spot available just before reaching the Summit Cable Car peak.

Definitely worth the visit for the stunning vistas alone!

Taking the cable car down from the Great Orme was the highlight of our trip to Wales🚡
The scenery is spectacular and it's so quiet, it was a magical experience. I highly recommend it. We went up on the tram and down on the cable car.
Plan ahead: they only take cash

We visited Llandudno for the day whilst on holiday in Rhyl, and we knew the cable cars were something we wanted to do.
Be prepared for a bit of a steep uphill walk to the Happy Valley station (dreadful in the 27° heat!). Once there, the tickets can only be paid for in cash, which we were prepared for as we’d checked the website ahead of time.
We were quickly onboarded onto a car, and set off on the 9 minute journey up to the summit. The views were incredible and absolutely breathtaking. You can see for miles across the whole of Llandudno and the sea, and then over the other side to the mountain.
Once at the top, there’s an adventure mini golf, a gift shop and cafe, toilets, and lots of places to sit and take in the views. There’s also a large car park if you’d prefer to drive up to the summit, where you’ll incur a small £2.50 toll free.
Whilst this was a fantastic experience, I’d say the cost of the return ticket is far far too high. £14.00 pp for an 18 min all-in journey. There’s not enough to do at the summit to warrant a longer trip up there, which would make it better value for money.
I’d go again, but only by car.

It's a nice place with beautiful scenery. I went on a weekend in June. There was a long queue for the cable car, and they only accept cash, so you can't use a card for payments. Also, be aware that the service is suspended if it's too windy.

Well run and waiting times were about 5-10 minutes, both ways.
Our dog fare was £1.50 so that was reasonable too.
It's windy and a little nippy up on the top so be prepared.

OMG absolutely loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!
First time on a cable car and it was immense-Sooooo quiet and peaceful plus the views are out of this world!
Only downfall is the disgusting pricing (in my view) i mean a family of 3 nearly £40 is scandalous but never the less we wanted to give it a go and loved it.

Had more trips to Llandudno than I can count but had never done the cable cars before. It was a sunny day with no breeze and it was great. Really easy, great views and constantly running. It is cash only, so make sure you have some before you trek up there as the nearest cash point is quite a walk. Would be great to be able to pay by card or book ahead online.
