This mosque lies on the edge of Mecca & so is often used to put on Ihram during the Hajj.

Aisha Mosque, also known as Masjid Aisha or Masjid at-Tan'eem, is a significant site for pilgrims traveling to Mecca for Umrah or Hajj. It serves as a Miqat, which is a designated point outside the holy city where pilgrims must enter into the state of Ihram, a sacred state of ritual purity and intention, before proceeding to Mecca.

Masjid Ayesha which is the nearest Miqat Taneen for Umarah, which is about 15-20 minutes drive from Masjid al Haram for Iahram niyat.

Miqat for Umrah. Masjid al Aisha (ra).
Pros: good calm environment. Excellent!! 🎉🎉❤️❤️
Cons: the water in the ablution point / room is not air-conditioned. Its hot, really hot. No cold water also in the men's washroom. Hot days the water is pretty hot.
Taxi fare from Makkah (Haram) is 50/- sar (up-down). Always bargain. Thanks.

I recently visited Aisha Masjid and had a mixed experience. The parking lot was jam-packed, which made finding a spot quite challenging. Additionally, the washrooms, especially those for showering, were only average in terms of cleanliness and convenience. Despite these downsides, the mosque itself had a serene atmosphere and provided a space for prayer and reflection. It's worth considering these aspects if you plan to visit, but the spiritual environment still holds its own charm.
