During my 1.5 years at The James, I truly believe I got the best possible launchpad for my career. I went from Copywriter to Product Marketing Specialist -- to Brand Marketing Specialist -- in that time. That's 2 promotions in a year and half that I credit to my time here. Without the incredibly conducive workspace/lounge, I'm honestly not sure I could have made that much progress.
Even when I felt like working alone, my elegantly furnished studio was ideal for getting into my most productive mindset.
After work, the weekly events energised and cheered me up. I made amazing friends who sharpened my skills. I got a lot of satisfaction from helping them too.
That said...
My advice for any future resident of The James is to engage with Ellie, Jenny, and Luca. From my experience, I can promise they'll enrich your career and general lifestyle. They really do care about us.
Check the exclusive app as often as you can, too. There's always a surprise or update you'll be thankful to have seen.

THE RIGHT CHOICE
As an International worker at my first experience in the UK, I found in The James a really welcoming home that greatly eased the process of moving in a new country.
The studio is modern, clean, and cozy and the staff friendly, efficient and always happy to help. Every week The James organizes plenty of social activities, which represent an excellent chance to bond with the residents and to relax after work.
Residence amenities also include a wide luxury lounge and a well-equipped gym.

An amazing place to stay, it is in the centre of Liverpool, and the room is very clean and large. The GM Jennifer is really nice and she answered all my questions when book the room, and she showed me the building on my first day. Also, the Wi-Fi is pretty good!
Stayed here last weekend for 4 nights. This place is amazing. Super clean and everything in the room is excellent. The location is also incredible and the staff were super friendly and accomodating. Will definitely be staying here again when we visit Liverpool again
I am living in The James per 6 months, and It's a very good place. It's my home! It's very clean, with nice people, with very attention staff. The GM Jennifer and Ellen are very kind! The place is very new! I really love live in this place. That's amazing! The best place to stay in Liverpool.
The James apartment offered me a home away from home. Due to the friendly environment created by Jenny and Ellie. A fantastic place to live - it is located in the heart of Liverpool and also has exceptional facilities available.
This place is pretty awesome!
The move in process was easy, the staff are wonderful and are always willing to help and/or answer Qs, the place is SO CLEAN, the neighbours aren't loud, it's in a great and convenient location, there's a gym ANDDD a residents lounge. WiFi is also good - I work from home a lot and it does the job!
