Roman thermae of Sant Boi

Realizamos una visita en grupo y con un guía que nos explicó la historia de los orígenes de las Termas Romanas en Sant Boi de Llobeegat.

Un lugar muy chulo donde ir con niños y ver como vivían los romanos

Simplemente impresionante! Espectacular para visitar sobretodo con niños. Muy bonito y cuidado. La historia se hace presente viviendo este lugar. Increíble.

Leider zerbricht das alte römische Gemäuer. Das Dach scheint erneuert werden zu müssen. Es fehlen Erläuterungen zu den Ausgrabungen. Stattdessen Bildtafeln zu Pompei und allgemein zu römischer Geschichte. Angemesser Eintritt in Höhe von 1,00 €. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Studentin am Eingang!

The Roman Baths of Sant Boi were built between the end of the 2nd century and the beginning of the 3rd century A.D. The baths were for private and family use and are among the best preserved baths of that era in Catalonia. They were more than likely part of a Roman villa.
Nowadays it is possible to visit their remains. Articles on display include an amphora which bears witness to a roman amphora-producing centre which previously stood on this site and was released to the trading and transporting of wine.
Can Torrents, Can Barraquer and the Roman Baths are the three main features of Sant Boi from a museum perspective.
