Great station but insane during Songkran. I imagine day to day its an easy station to manoeuvre around but on the day we used it, it was impossible.

Very convenient to stay nearby, surrounded by good restaurants and bars, lots of public transportation and huge Lumphini park
Both Silom Complex and ParkSilom connected at 2nd floor

Visited during Songkran and it's a blast if you're here for the water festival! But if you're not into getting soaked, better steer clear or use a different station. The festival is super fun and lively, but watch out, even if you dodge the crowds and sneak off into the alleys, there are lots of playful tourists who will drench you with buckets of water. Great for festival-goers, not so much if you want to stay dry!

so much memories!!!
this is the stop if you’re going to silom area, get so many trains here across the years!
Oh there is this killer pot brownie and pot cookie seller right under this bts stop which I REALLY like but I can’t find them on google map. They’re chillax cannabis!
really loveeee their products.

Don’t forget to visit the best Boba Tea Shop inside BTS sala Daeng station, they have more than 50 different types of drinks

The one and only station in the popular Silom area. Platforms are narrow, making it extremely uncomfortable, not to mention dangerous when it is often packed to the brim during many hours of the day. It is worse when the weather is scorching hot. There are no a/c or fans to cool waiting passengers. Imagine the stench from sweaty passengers one shoulder length away from you! There is also the issue with ticketing systems. Be it the ticketing machines or the manned counters, there are always long queues. I cannot fathom why it is not made more user-friendly. Perhaps integrate with online payment gateways? It would greatly help reduce congestions and waiting time for customers.
