The staff are a fantastic bunch of people who take customer service seriously and are always happy and smiling! They’re a credit to the taxpayer 🙏

Great public library with great staff. Shame it has become so automated though.

I used to love this library as a teenager. But having visited today I have some feedback. I found it a cold, hard and unfriendly environment that does nothing to encourage reading. There are no places to sit and read comfortably in the entire library. I counted 4 armchairs, and these were in walkways etc so not in a comfortable tucked away reading nook. Most of the library is taken up by desks and desk chairs and computer stations. Probably great if you're studying quietly but to sit and read is very uncomfortable. Would it kill the council to add a couch here or there!? Felt sterile like a hospital.

I love coming to the library for marking and studying. It allows me to get my work done, and then go home do spend time with my family without worrying about bringing work home.

One of my favourite places to go, staff are always helpful and friendly. I look forward to seeing what new things they have on the shelves and the various Author talks planned. I would be lost without this Library.

Came at around 1 pm on a Saturday. Donna helped me look for books and was very helpful. It really felt like she has a love for literature and is very communicative. Wonderful experience, would recommend.

Saturday story time was amazing, very welcoming and great how the awesome staff included everyone. My granddaughter had the best time and is looking forward to the next one. Well done 👏 ✔️
