DO NOT take your watch here for a new battery!!!
They have chewed up the back of my gold Raymond Weil watch that belonged to my late Nanna. I specifically asked them to be careful with it, but when I returned it looked like a child had attempted to remove the back with a screwdriver!
Carl then proceeded to deny that he had caused the damage and blame it on the younger member of staff for “not checking the watch properly” - basically implying that I’d brought it in in such a state, and that I’m now lying about it!!!
I can confirm that both the young man and I inspected the watch back for the identification marks to match the Lifetime Guarantee for the battery when I dropped it off. No marks were flagged because there were none present!!
Deep scratches were then polished out by Carl but now the gold plating is removed so it has been sent off to their workshop. I have sent a complaint to Timpson’s customer service.
Seriously, save yourself the hassle and go elsewhere! Another branch of Timpson ruined my Grandad’s watch back too. Shame he didn’t see until he got home! I won’t be returning here for any more batteries, guarantees can go in the bin where they belong!

Got a pair of heels out of my wardrobe and not worn them for three years. They were brand-new and they seals had crumbled at the bottom fix them in five minutes. (My cousin not me)
The young man working there was very helpful but I got charged £13 for just 4 ID photos.. I could not believe the price, what a rip off.
I'm not happy that I've tried get upload new photo face IiD code for applly renew my passport on online in hurry... This came up red automated check messanger box online sayed There"s a problem with the colour in your phoito". So I've got manage other way photo sent out passport online late.......

I came in needing a shoe repair and the boss was done in half an hour. He fixed it perfectly and I was absolutely chuffed. The boss very jolly and nice and the other staff were welcoming. Nice atmosphere!
Took in my shoes which I thought we’re destined for the bin.. and honestly they are back to how I brought them brand new.. wonderful customer service and very quick turn around and extremely well priced for the quality of work received
