Discovering barberry (zereshk in Persian) in Krakow was quite unexpected. As someone residing in Portugal, Pastel de Nata at this market was also crazy for me.

Very authentic local market. You can buy almost everything with a focus on fresh fruits and veggies, pastries, specialities, meat and cheese. But also flower and some clothing stores.

Just an incredible place, the atmosphere of the market is visible from the entrance, pleasant aromas of spices, herbs, and a grandmother selling the finest homemade milk.
Without exaggeration, as a place to buy fresh and natural products, it is a delicious choice. I often like berries, strawberries, as well as a lot of greens for salads.
The assortment of what gets into my refrigerator lasts a week in perfect condition.

My favorite market in Krakow hands down. You will be amazed at the fresh produce, variety, prices. Head straight to Aura Kawa at the south entrance for the best coffee in town and then grab some breakfast from the stalls. Have cash on you!
