Mandar Restaurant

I recently dined at Mandar and was thoroughly disappointed. From start to finish, the experience fell short of expectations.

First, the service was lackluster. We waited over 30 minutes for our table despite having a reservation. Once seated, our server seemed disinterested and inattentive. We had to repeatedly ask for basic items like water refills and napkins.

The food was a major letdown. The Chicken Masala was overcooked and lacked flavor, and the portion sizes were surprisingly small for the price. My Chicken curry was underseasoned and arrived lukewarm. When we mentioned this to our server, there was no effort to rectify the situation or offer an apology.

The restaurant itself was also not up to par. The ambiance was not as advertised, with outdated decor and uncomfortable seating. The cleanliness was questionable; our table had visible crumbs, and the restrooms were in poor condition.

For the high prices and the hype surrounding this place, the overall experience did not justify the cost. I was hoping for a much better dining experience and am unlikely to return.

Mutton masala and tala hua gosh was good… biryani was okay.. all together waiting time after order is annoying.. must improve service for sure.

This place is my favorite for their Haleem and Marag dishes. So, I went to this restaurant with my colleagues for dinner. We ordered Haleem and Marag. Their Haleem used to be one of the best in the city, but I didn’t feel the same this time. It tasted different but still ok. Quantity is good. Marag was really good. Kadai Chicken was decent in taste with rumali roti. Then we ordered chicken biryani which was decent but nothing special about it. Over all, it was a decent experience.

Mandar Restaurant is one of the oldest restaurants in Tolichowki surroundings, Best restaurant to visit with family and friends, i usually visit here, My all time favourite here is Mutton Mandi, Tandoori chicken and Mutton biryani and Apricot delight, Prices are lil bit expensive here, The service is good, ambience is decent, and directions are easily available on Google Maps, accepts cash, cards and online payments, Four wheeler parking here's a very big headache, everytime I've to park my car outside on the road.

Don't waste ur money, i ordered chicken biryani night 8pm, they are sending ofternoon biryani, and biryani inside onion peels ,and chicken very bad smell , mandar is bad restaurant in Hyderabad

After someone referred to this place I finally had a chance to visit. Since I was alone, I ordered a single person Chicken Mandi and it was frankly too much rice for a single person.

Two can sufficiently eat it. However only 1 piece will be served. The mutton soup was delicious as usual for any Mandi place.

I felt the ambience of the restaurant was not overwhelming. It was dull and the wait staff were nice.

Average experience, maybe I should try more dishes and review again.

Went to this place with almost 10 persons. They had enough space to accommodate all. We had malai chicken followed by mutton mandi. Actually, we ordered chicken mandi but the waiter brought mutton saying you ordered mutton. Don’t know it was a mistake or a ploy. But, mutton Mandi was very good in taste. It was cooked well and juicy. The food served was hot and the quantity was also good. Overall experience was good and satisfying. Price was also fair and good. I would recommend this place
