Beautiful little Regional park! Saturday entrance is $5, cash or credit.

The park is really straight forward, pull in, follow the one road, and park in the one parking lot that they have. We came in around 8:45 am. Still lots of parking spots left. It doesn’t look like this park gets really crowded.

We left around 11 am. The parking lot was more empty. Lovely park. Hiking, walks, runs, bikes, horse back riding, and dog-friendly!

They have stations for small bike repairs and air at the beginning of the main trail. They also have shaded stations around the trails if you want to take a break and get some shade.

We did see a rattlesnake today moving across the trail lol. Cool experience!

The park also have lots of seating at the entrance of the trails with bbq grille stations, and bathrooms. Some trials were closed today. But there are still so many trials open. Also they have a kids playground section .

If Irvine Regional Park is full and you don't wanna wait in line, this is an alternative and good place to go. There are many trails in this park and each one has a cute name. Most of them are easy to complete.

Santiago Regional Park, oh what a sight!
Nature's beauty, a wondrous delight.
A verdant oasis, amidst the city's rush,
Where peace and serenity abound in hush.
Lush green trees, a symphony of sound,
Birds chirping, nature's music all around.
A lake that glistens, like a diamond in the sun,
Reflecting the sky, its beauty second to none.

Lovely park! Good trails and nice places to take a break. Only bad thing is there's no way to figure out if the nature center is open on any given day unless you call ahead. But I'll definitely come back here for more hikes!
