Little cozy rocky and beach-ey all in one. The only real downside is it's always colder then I would like it. Other then that you can picnic on the grass. The squirrels and seagulls love to join you if you letb them.

This is a fantastic spot! Weirdly enough there was a lot of squirrels running around this area. Regardless it is a wonderful place to visit the beach sightsee and eat and drink at a lovely cafe. We absolutely love this place!

Beautiful white sand beach! It's small and can get super crowded. It's also hard to find parking at times, but people come and go all the time so it's really not that bad. Always love coming here.

Beautiful, clean beach with great public restrooms nearby. It's a smaller beach but it was not very busy at all. There are tide pools there too and a grassy area with picnic benches and rocks to climb on to get great views of the ocean. There is free street parking not far from the beach. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be back!

Absolutely stunning. Monterey doesn't offer much for free, but a walk along this coastal stretch is not only free but possibly my favorite place for a leisurely stroll. The coastal winds can make it quite chilly, so make sure to dress warmly. On a clear day, it's hard to beat this view.
This little beautiful beach, located south of the aquarium and typically less crowded, comes with a cafeteria. To access the sand, you'll need to descend two flights of staircases. Remember that the water is consistently cold, so exercise caution! It's a fantastic stopping point along the coastal bike route.

Great place to swim, bbq, kayak, paddle board, pictures, is a very beautiful beach any time of the day any time of the year. Many restaurants around the beach many places to bbq ether the beach the park. Two parking lots one onto the beach side the other one across the street. The bathrooms are clean in the morning not after 12pm. The water is very clear the sand is very clean, there is always volunteers in the morning picking up garbage. One of the most beautiful beaches I've been to specially in high tide.

Beautiful. Simply beautiful. Not much is free in Monterey, but the walk along this section of the coast is and could also be my favorite place to go for a walk. It can be extremely cold with the coastal winds, so bundle up. But, on a clear day, it doesn’t get much better than this.
