Very authentic. Feels like being back in Nanjing

The broth is overwhelmingly peppery, and you have to ask for salt and chicken essence, plus the duck liver doesn't taste fresh. I'm not sure if this is how an authentic duck blood vermicelli soup is supposed to be.

Their attitude is very unpleasant. The boss is an especially harsh old lady who keeps shouting at my child, telling my child not to go near their broken glass. Their glass has been broken for a long time, posing a serious safety hazard. The first time she screamed at my child about the broken glass, we appreciated her reminder, but suddenly, she started shouting very loudly at my child. My child did nothing wrong, just standing near that broken glass cabinet. She is definitely maliciously shouting at my child, and her heart is very wicked. Their food tastes pretty mediocre, but the prices are through the roof. And let me tell you, the place is a real dump – the floors are all sticky and gross. I hope the Health Department pays them a visit soon!

The bbq duck and salted duck were pretty good but not the duck blood clear noodle soup.

Really authentic Nanjing food! Highly recommend roasted duck(烤鸭) and sweet lotus root with sticky rice (糖藕).

You can choose to dine in or take out. They have a small number of tables available for dine-in.

Extra star for good service.

I like the duck head and wings but not my mom. Had to admit it's a little overly salty, but fits my weird craving sometimes, so I'll come back again.

Tried the vermicelli soup, dumplings, and shumai. Both dumpling and shumai are too fatty to my taste(too much lard). It's interesting using sticky rice as filling in shumai and the flavor is good, worth to try if you like a super carb-bomb. (I do Ha). Like the vermicelli soup too. The liver is too much for my taste (too gamey) but everything else tastes good. Soup is a bit too salty to my mom.

The sever is always nice. Too bad the location is semi open so it's too hot during summer time, so only to-go so far. I do like they don't charge tax on frozen food which is how it should be. Will come back again.
As a native of Nanjing, I have to say that the salted duck, soup bun and siu mai are so authentic.
