To the owner ... you entire staff, especially Christina, on Sunday July 21 was exceptional! Super friendly!

I had a cappuccino that was very good. My breakfast was Full Breakfast with sausage, grits and white toast. Everything was very good. I also had a biscuit with sausage gravy. I am a Snob when it comes to sausage gravy and biscuits. This was off the charts. They are up there with the best I've had in the nation!

Visit this place, an absolute hidden gem!

the biscuits themselves are inconsistent. the first few times i came here, they were very crunchy & dry. i had one experience where they were fluffy and moist, then they went back to before. as for the sides, i would appreciate hot/warm grits and for the rotating vegetables to be prepared a little better. they’re typically soft and flavorless.

Overall, above average food ruined by awful service. Not good enough to merit trying again.

We were told early on that they only had one cook and that the wait for the food would be longer than usual. The food wait was not exceptionally long at all, however the service was just terrible. Two of us ordered coffee and asked for cream. The waitress passed the table twice with no sign of cream. I waited another 5 minutes and approached the counter and asked another server for cream which she promptly started to provide, until our server came up and took the cream and the pitcher from her and proceeded to pour cream all over her hand and the floor. The rest of the meal was just the waitress walking past us several times without checking in, without refilling coffee or water (she finally filled coffee once when the meal was nearly over). She took the plates and brought the check. I laid my card on top of it right away but again she walked past several times without acknowledging it. I finally went and stood by the door so I would look like a new customer and sure enough a server approached. I asked to speak with the manager. I explained all the above to the manager, Matthew, who was kind and apologized and asked for my check and card saying he would "take care of it." I assumed that would mean a small discount. He took it to the back and had our server run it and bring it out to apologize. Her apology was lackluster - "sorry we're really busy". There was no discount at all. Underwhelming experience. Head to the Breakfast place across the street.

We LOVE this adorable, quaint little specialty breakfast place! They were so attentive and accommodating from the time we walked in the door. Major snaps to our server Toby who treated us like royalty. We will definitely be back!

Sorry but the food was HORRIBLE! I can't give a minus star rating so one star will do...
Not sure which restaurant came first. The one in Fishers or this one. But we first visited Big Bear Biscuits in Fishers this place is not the same quality as Fishers. Very disappointed. I order the biscuits with chicken etouffee, grizzly roll and the Hoosier bear. The biscuit was so hard and crumbley I ask for another one and got basically the same biscuit. The cinnamon roll had a refrigerator taste not sure if it's the icing or roll or both. The Hoosier bear tenderloin let's just say it's nothing tender about it!
A total waste of my money!
Picture #1 Are the big warm and moist biscuits from Fishers Big Bear Restaurant.
Pictures 2 &3 Are from here. I ordered a carry out.

The location in Carmel, IN is better in my opinion. Unfortunately, the food, while still good, does not come out as fresh. It does not feel like the staff is well supported. They are still working hard and providing the best service they can. Having been here several times, it seems like a management issue. Love the buisness and love the food. It is a shame that the staff are not getting the resources they need.

Everything tasted amazing and the portions were huge. I am generally very picky about sausage gravy and often find myself disappointed at most places sausage gravy with biscuits, but Big Bear was fantastic. We will be back for more (after we let this giant meal digest a bit). Staff was friendly and inviting. This is great new addition to Brownsburg's dining options. Unexpectedly, they have great breakfast beverages as well: multiple uniquely flavored lattes, and brunch cocktails that are more than a typical mimosa.
