We went there mostly for the pool. It was a decent size. Lifeguard on duty all the time. There are also security on duty. The pool is 4 ft deep all along. Kids shorter than 4 ft must be accommodated with adults. The playground itself is large , there is also a basketball court. Location wise, it is next to a project. So safety could be a concern. Some parts of the playground are also stinky.
As a new resident to Staten Island I’m discovering the places it has to offer its residents. One of the many places for family activities.
My only concern was It’s right by the projects which scares me.

There's a pool for children from 0 to 14 adults only allowed accompanied with a child.
They've remodeled the basket ball court, and the pool is under repair as well. I think this community park has so much potential with better funding. Speed bumps have been added as well for the safety of the children. The kids from the neighborhood have a lot of fun here after school.
It was really nice. Nice shadows to seat under. Love to bring nephew here to play.
Nice playground, with toddler size and little larger kid size equipment in it. Kids like the water fountain which is available on days when the temperature hits 80 degrees or higher, so kids can cool down while having a blast!
