The parking in front of the education center is free and not many people parked there. Nice hiking trails and pretty chill and beautiful scenery. Very interesting history in San Pedro especially in the WWII era. Drop by the education center! Some interesting things to take a look at. Helen was very knowledgeable and friendly. The center used to be a missile building facility and the platform is a short walk away with the artillery battery remnant structures little further up.

The volunteer guide was amazing! Was a wealth if information and you could tell was very passionate. She showed us the plants to smell and taste :) there are different trails starting very short, but little shade. One son loved the military history element, another liked the nature center, our daughter earned a patch from app game/treasure hunt...something for everyone !

Great place for a walk in spring, when all the color comes out. This old Nike missile site has been repurposed into a beautiful coastal park. There are public restrooms available and parking is free. There is a small Nature Center that has exhibits and history on the area. The trails around the area go through a wide variety of flowering plants in the spring and the coastal breezes make for a very pleasant afternoon.

I and my family found it very much enjoyable for trailing around nature. It's really big landscape full of nature. Free parking and no entry fee. Nature center have corner assign for kids to do coloring. Great coastal view from outside of nature education center with good trails. Pets are allowed.

Beautiful nature reserve for a walk. There are a few trails in the reserve, soft surface, both flat ones and some hilly ones. I don't see a lot of shade in the park though, nor amenities. There is a parking lot on the west side.
When I visited, the area closest to the ocean is closed so you won't get the ocean view.
