Nice place to visit

A free museum that has an impressive collection of impressionist paintings by several of the masters such as Monet and Van Gogh. We were also amazed by their porcelain collection which included china pieces from the 1700 and 1800s that appeared to be in like new condition. Since there is no charge to enter, you can just pop in to see a few things and then go without walking yourself to exhaustion. However, if you want to do the latter, there are many more exhibits that we did not see.

Very nice museum of natural history , as well as a very interesting arts museum which also includes a limited time entrance to a very big piece of art the portrait of Vincent Van Gogh ! Yessss all the way from France it will be there until November if I’m right anyway don’t miss it

Very pleasantly surprised by what the amgueddfa has to offer with various exhibitions and art from different periods.

Interesting place. Would be great for kids. Slightly less of interest for adults. Routes could be signposted better.

A fantastic museum and art gallery combination that's free to enter and enjoy. The ground floor has a large walking display of the natural history of Cardiff and Wales, with plenty of displays to enjoy. The first floor has a large art selection, from classics like those of displays, to historic displays about various porcelain vessels, to moder day artists and displays. There is also a café on the ground floor and gift shop.
