Very slow service! Flavors not good also the ice was not even covered with syrup. Please wait in line at the others instead of trying this one.
It was our first time to the North Shore and we wanted to stop for Shave Ice. We had the best experience, great customer service and the Shave Ice was amazing. We wanted the works so my whole family ordered the Pineapple Express. It was so creamy and delicious which also included coconut jelly. We’ll definitely be back for more the next we’re in Hawaii.
The lady took a huge block of ice out, we watched her shave down each cone! The banana flavor is my favorite. My husband gets the Pineapple Express. This is our second time here and we don’t feel like we need to try anywhere else!
We tried 3 shave Ice places while on our trip to Honolulu. Haleiwa has our heart…and our taste buds bc this place was AMAZING! We ranked them number 1 out of all 3 including the famous Matsumoto’s which we ranked 2nd of the 3. Don’t sleep on Haleiwa shave ice, it is totally worth the little extra cash. We loved the Hawaiian special! 🍍
I understand that shave ice is a requisite dessert to have on the north shore, and this is my stop every time I make this drive. I do not know what coconut jelly is. It looks like little translucent maggots. Don't be scared. It's heavenly!!!! Very messy, very sticky, very mouthwatering and refreshing, this over the top mess is worth the drive!
Shaved ice here was good but very pricey compared to Matsumoto Shave Ice. We got 1 shave ice with mochi topping for $10, which is pictured below, but a large shave ice with mochi balls at Matsumoto is $5.
Great Shave Ice. The super tourist place is around the corner, but this great and no line when I went through. Also has a small parking lot next to it. Sorry for the lack of colors in my Shave Ice. I like the flavors I like! 😋
