Chamonix Condominiums

Booked this on Airbnb, by far the worst accommodation I have ever stayed in. It seems like the furniture and our unit was literally picked up off the street, it’s filthy. It’s dirty, the mattresses are clearly from 1980s, extremely uncomfortable, one of the beds completely folded in half when you lay on it, has a hole, Pillow, had stains, blanket, covering the bed had a stain, does this place even get cleaned? Ive never been more disgusted to stay in any accommodation.
Hopefully management or owners actually do something about it soon, since the airbnb has MULTIPLE BAD reviews for years about the bedding

I can tell you that the place we rented looks good in the pictures, but the furniture was just beat junk. Rented it for a week, and ate the rental money as they would not return it! We decided to go back to Bishop and get a decent place, I would NOT recommend this based solely on the furniture and the rental agency's attitude. Photos are very misleading.I have to give them one star to post?

Can't beat the location. Units are privately owned, so some are updated, others show their age. 1 minute walk to Canyon Lodge station

Cozy little place with 2 doors to get in. It's nice and really close to the slopes. Our place had 3 rooms, 2 with queen beds and 1 with 2 double bunk beds plus a pull out couch in the living room. We filled it to capacity and housed 10 people. The kitchen is small but otherwise it's nice

Not a fan. Parking is just-barely-ample but the driveway/road accesses are kind of confusing, and the units, while they photograph well, are tighter with less usable space than expected.

And holy cow did we get lost trying find our rental...

At least the location, so close to Canyon Lodge, is good?

A bit dark in the winter (high trees, mountains intercept the light), but well-appointed in a low key way. Very well-situated for skiing or hiking in the Mammoth Lakes area, but enough off the main roads that it's pretty quiet. Calm, restful feel. Unit heating system are a little strange, and would be improved if it were possible to install setback thermostats, but they work, eventually.

So close to Canyon Lodge and the place is well-maintained. The walk to Chair 7 literally took less than 5 minutes. Rec room has sauna, jacuzzi, billiards, cable TV and BBQ. It got busy sometimes but everyone was courteous.
