Very nice, clean air-conditioned store. Good range of products on offer and lots of seating available. The caramel iced latte was excellent.

Greggs Paddington: Speedy Bites Near the Station (With a Safety Note)
Greggs Paddington is a lifesaver for anyone on the go near Paddington Station. It's a spacious bakery with a huge selection of their classic savory and sweet treats. Popular with Public Transport and hospital staff.
Pros:
Convenience: Super close to Paddington Station, perfect for grabbing a bite before your train.
Lunch Deals: They offer great lunch meal deals, making it an affordable and filling option.
Security: The presence of a security guard adds a layer of safety, especially for solo travelers.
Food:
While Greggs isn't known for haute cuisine, they offer a reliable selection of pastries, sandwiches, and hot savories. Their sausage rolls are legendary, and their vegan options are becoming increasingly popular.
A Word of Caution:
It's important to be aware of your surroundings, particularly because St. Mary's Hospital is nearby and can attract a mix of people. There have been some reports of Eastern European pickpocketing gangs operating in the area. Keep an eye on your belongings, especially when crowded.
Overall:
Greggs Paddington is a great option for a quick and affordable bite near the station. Just be mindful of your surroundings and enjoy their tasty selection of convenient eats!

Try the wrap at McDonalds for 1.99.
Get lunch at the nearby M&S.
Greggs is the closest lunch to my office, but I dodge it every day. Low value for your money.
Some options are tasty, as the recipes are pre-made from the franchise, but the quality of how it's served here doesn't match the price. You will find the pizza is mostly dough, skimping out on the good stuff. The pastry is minimally filled. The same pattern can be felt in any bite of anything else.
The atmosphere is appalling. Everything is dirty, hygiene is a strange concept here, and you often witness shoplifting. I don't blame the individuals who thought the food was free. For what it is, I'd think the price tag was just a joke too.
Most of the staff is polite and trying their best, but this Greggs is set up to fail, and in all honesty I'd wager my bets that the manager is in some kind of catatonic state of indifference.
What is the highest value that the central Londoner will unhand for a slice of pizza? Stay tuned, and we'll find out.
In conclusion, if you come in hungry, you will leave still hungry. And I sure hope you didn't bring your expectations with you past the door.

Food is cold and have almost half a spoon of filling. Staff is not co operative. No access to toilet. You can easily find same food in wenzel full of filling and value for money.

Fed up of seeing staff members handling money, (known to be dirty) then openly handle food with their hands. No gloves, no prongs. I believe staff need to be trained on the importance of food hygiene. Better not get sick here.

Worst customer service ever got from store Manager Quincy. No hello, no smile took my order very rude way no farewell.
Someone comes in the store and needs to give this manager training. Display trays look like never wash also oven paper look like no one change my pasty was rock hard. I have waste money to have food from this branch. No Napkins available so when I ask manager then he went back room and very rudely come outside and filled the napkin holders. Health safety 0%
Food safety 0%
Cross contamination 0%
Sitting area full with messy 0%
Could someone from store contact me about my money refund for rock hard pasty? Please train the staff for best customer service.

I didn’t know about GREGGS and just noticed there’s a clean cafe near my hotel. Sandwich and coffee were lovely and reasonable. I had my breakfast here twice during my stay in London.
