The staff never come back to clean the table. Had to ask a couple of times. They weren’t busy at the time.

Had lunch with my colleagues and ordered their laksa and their sandwich. There was no queue when we ordered so we were accommodated right away, their service was also quick.

Food selections are reasonably priced although I could say that I'm craving for more laksa after I finished my meal. I also like their sandwich.

The interior design is very nice and clean. It gives a comfortable experience for the customers.

The food was okay, I was able to experience Singaporean food first hand so it is close to Singaporean cuisine.

The staff were a bit rude, I was thinking maybe because they were only two serving the customers. It contradicts the atmosphere their restaurant is trying to create. They were not that welcoming.

Yet, overall I was still able to satisfy my cravings and also worth trying.

Just like Singapore's image, it's clean, tidy, and the staff are quick. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. This is an unusually clean restaurant in Malate Robinson. It is close to the entrance to the underground parking lot next to the book store on the first floor.

Being a Singaporean, I just had to try the food to check if it was really authentic Singaporean food or just a ripoff. I guess it's half way from what I've seen. Tried ordering the Laksa - not serving, ordered the Prawn noodle soup - not serving. Reason being that they didn't have prawns. Last resort ordered the Fishball Noodle Soup and a kopi (coffee with milk/sugar) - yes they had it.

Verdict
- Kopi - Okay tasted like Singapore hawker centre kopi
- Fishball Noodle Soup - Failed - wrong type of noodles served, fishballs were bland. But most importantly, they did not have the
the cut red chillies to accompany the noodles. That's a no-no in
Singapore. However, the only saving grace was the broth.

So as a far as authenticity is concerned the food is definitely not Singaporean Food as it claims to be. Except for the Kaya Toast and beverages.

At Nanyang, there are plenty of milk tea, fruity beverages, and coffee options to choose from. There also serve rice meals, noodles, and toasts.

The place is bright, lively, and aesthetic, you’ll be encouraged to get inside. It’s a great choice for families and friends.

Visiting today ordered their Cheesy Chicken Chop Noodle - I opted out the cheese though 😂 it was ok, their noodles tasted like a typical Mi Goreng but lesser sauce but it was ok. Added with butter toast which my toast seemed to be a lil cold 😂😂 next their fishball soup, it was tasty my son loves their fishballs. Then for the drinks Iced Tea Melaka and Upgraded Iced Tea Lemon in my chicken chop noodles. But one thing, staffs are really friendly and HONEST!! She punched 2 orders and was honest enough to tell me she was mistaken. Anyway it was ok. It was our first time maybe will try some more in their menus. 🤩
