Walk - easy, well kept grounds, beautiful trees and close to everything

DeBoer Park playground is small making it perfect for toddlers and younger children. It has a drinking fountain, and many shaded areas with benches and picnic tables. Enjoyed watching the crows eating the crab apples that had fallen from the trees.

Nice well kept park for a dog walk. Great playground, basketball court, plenty of shade and park benches, and stream running through it.

I live across from here. Have taken my kids to play here maybe 4 times in the entire year. We go to other parks. Biggest complaint or problem is people who don’t care to put there dogs on leashes and heap or size the safety of other people especially children. Google had this as a tourist attraction, which it is not. But sure does look like it some days, very packed or crowded with groups from various daycares or families. Even on a Sunday night it can be busy oddly; it’s by the university so students out late at night and being loud; wood chips some people don’t like them ; not enough sand in sand pit likely from kids throwing sand out; POOP not cleaned up either by animals ; no animal stations available/unfortunately no dog providing pick up bags just a leash law signs for city and county of Denver. On a very good note the land is well maintained by the city in aspect it is very nice and green for walking and recreation. Obviously a beautiful place. Ducks, and an otter live in the water.

Phenomenal! I love how clean it always is. They have 2 separate sides one for smaller kiddos and one for older, which I love because it gives the younger kids space to feel comfortable. My son loves it too!

DeBoer Park is cool. Basketball court, playground, concrete path over creek with a bridge, and a decent amount of real estate on the grass to play frisbee etc.
Denver Parks have these chairs, however, that are designed to destroy you, and DeBoer Park has a few of them. My friend got absolutely mangled by one of those things. Admittedly it was hilarious, but another time I was at Wash Park which has one as well and this Poor little kid was in it, he literally couldn't get out of the chair and it was spinning him wildly, he was crying for help and I had to run over and stop it for him.
Watch out for those chairs! If you're an adventurous type, take a seat in one ;)
(If you don't know what I'm talking about, it's like a deep bucket chair that swivels on a tilted axis and operates on some anti-Newtonian principles, apparently)

Smaller sized park with a kid playground. Walking trail was only maybe a half mile if. Lots of open space, ducks in the creek, just please make sure to pick up after your pets!
