Tonollis Deli

My friend and I ate there a few weeks ago, And I am going back today and will keep going back. The service was friendly. The food was excellent and there are many more things that I want to try. You won’t be disappointed. And the coffee is excellent.

Tonalis is a fixture on the Peninsula offering a good selection of morning coffee and baked goods. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is cozy and clean inside and in the sunken garden in the Summer.) I usually come for fruit scones & coffee but today I’m indulging. I haven’t experienced anything but great service and a welcoming environment. Originally an Hungarian deli, the new owners have retained the traditional European flare.

My sister and I stopped for lunch at the Sidney outlet. I was so disappointed. The sandwich was so dry I didn't finish it. Hard meat
no butter, dry bread. The server just shrugged when I explained why I left it on the plate. I regretted having tipped when I had paid upfront. My sister's food came about 20 minutes after mine which really dragged out the whole experience. I'm really only posting this due to the complete lack of interest from the staff. I don't expect every meal to be perfect but some interest/attempt to rectify would have been better.

As much as I adore this place I think your Venetian cremes should be illegal or at least have a warning label. Nothing should taste this delicious. I waited till I got home in Victoria to eat it and now think I should drive back up just for another one. I can’t wait to bring friends here. Such a friendly, quaint place. OMGOSH! finishing the survey .. you have lemon cheesecake???

The atmosphere here is amazing so quaint and cute. However, the past handful of times I have stopped in to get a latte it has been the worst tasting latte I can remember having, it's got a very bitter and burnt taste even after adding sugar. Please have someone in who knows how to make coffee come in to give you some tips, this place could be amazing if you just put some care into operating espresso machine.

I visited here first time with my daughter and we both loved here very much because it looks like to visit our friends home ! I will be back soon 🥰

Stopped for refreshments before heading to the ferry. We did take out last summer and this time dined in. Looking forward to trying out the patio next time. The biggest mocha and cinnamon bun ever!
