Pub near to Kings Cross Station. Does a superb pint of Budvar plus the rarer Budvar Dark.

Great pub in an excellent location (especially as the wonderful North Sea Fish restaurant is round the corner!) Always really nicely chosen cask ales, good selection of other drinks too. Enjoyable inside, on my most recent visit I watched some of the Olympics and also sat outside for a while. Staff have an element of old-school about them, you can tell they know their trade. Always very popular, and the food sounds good too, I'll try that sometime.

We had a catch up with UNI friends recently, for the second year, and I can say it is the place to be for a beer and for meeting friends!
There is a very nice vibe of people of different age range and social interests, and the staff is very attentive, welcoming, and professional! They have a good range of lager, ales, and spirits, I did not have the chance to eat there yet!
I definitely recommend it!

My go to place when in Bloomsbury. Great tap list with 6 pumps on cask. The young lady on the day shift was very friendly and a pleasure to talk with. Very popular pub for the after work crowd while the day crowd is mostly pensioners. They serve food from lunch on and have a Sunday Roast offering for £14+ which is very reasonable at London prices. Only a short walk from St Pancras/ King's Cross station.

Sunday Roast so had the pork roast with sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes, carrots, green beans, squash, Yorkshire pudding and applesauce. Delicious! The place was packed, yet service was fast. Had great ambiance.
