Balboa Island Park

Small but beautiful and clean.

Neat albeit a very small park with a playground and a half-court basketball hoop.

The park is small and located very close to the auto ferry area. There are cars always in front of the park parking and waiting to get on the ferry. There is a kids playground and a basketball place also there.

It is a great place to get away and relax for a few days. No rush to be somewhere or some place at a specific time. Read a book by the water or rent a boat. Take the Ferry over to the peninsula for a day. Then return via the Ferry. There are many things to do if you want or do nothing and relax. We will be returning regularly 😀

Too busy many other great places to go but a good experience if you're not driving

A wonderful little area tucked away in Orange County. It really feels like you're in a different world when walking around the island. It's just got a small town vibe to it.

If you plan on driving to the island & parking, just know that parking is at a premium. Give yourself extra time to circle around and find something. Especially during busy season like Christmas (man, the houses have some spectacular lights).

Christmas Winter Wonderland for this Jersey girl! My Hallmark moment!! The Holiday Cruise was also spectacular before Christmas!!
