Cozy place to dine in. Demand is high, there may not be any vacancies and you will have to wait a bit. The food is very tasty and beautifully presented. At first glance, it may seem that the portion is not very large, but in the end it turns out to be quite filling. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are also very tasty: the taste is soft, balanced, nothing interrupts or overshadows anything. The price is above average, I would even say high, but for such quality, in my opinion, it is more than justified.

The food was very delicious here! We really enjoyed it ! Our server was very friendly and provided good services! The place was well designed and good atmosphere! We ordered fish and lamb ! Fish was very tasty and fresh and the lamb was cooked very tender ! Highly recommend!

I had the kalbsschnitzel here. Paired with the sweet potato puree and cauliflower, it felt very balanced between sweet and salty, crunchy and chewy, all without feeling too heavy or meaty. Service was quick and courteous. The waiters made me feel welcome as a someone only speaking English. They also had an online English menu (which they gave me a QR code to access), which I was able to compare with the German menu. Would recommend Restaurant Platzhirsch to others passing through Dresden!

Excellent food - by far the best meal we had during our 5 days in Dresden. Its pricier than most places but well worth the money.
I had the Schnitzel (with a modern twist) which was very good. The stuffed artichoke bottoms were also delicious. Service was great also. Highly recommend.

Excellent food: tasty, fresh and generous. Very friendly staff. Little bit noisy, but probably normal for a German restaurant. I highly recommend this place.
