Came for dinner with a group of 5 and we had the Peking Duck and several additional appetizers and dishes. All were very authentic and delicious! The service was extremely fast and friendly. I can’t wait to come back and introduce this place to more of my friends.

Been here so many times.
Never realized Pele, Stevie Wander, and Muhammad Ali ate same Peking Duck!

Legendary restaurant. Still great food. What a feast.

Thank you for consistency, resilience.

I've only ever been to Peking Duck House twice (I live out of state), but both times have been absolutely incredible! Ever since my first visit here back in 2016 it has ruined all other Chinese restaurants for me... in the best way possible, no one, and I mean NO ONE has come close to how amazing and incredible the food at Peking Duck House is. The Paradise Beef is the greatest bit of Chinese cuisine I have ever consumed. I only wish I had something this good in Maryland. I will certainly make this a must visit location on all future trips to NYC!

As someone who has eaten peking duck a lot it was honestly not that great. The peking duck wrap was basically tortilla wrap (it was wayy too thick & tasted super bready). The duck itself was also not that great and too soggy. The skin wasn’t crisp at all and honestly very disappointing. The set up seemed very westernized (for lack of better terms) and didn’t have traditional peking duck setup / taste. The duck soup was also very mediocre(at best). Was quite disappointed with everything to be honest. Given the fact that it’s called Peking Duck House I would expect them to have better duck and for them to specialize in it although it was super disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend nor return. Only redeeming quality is that service is ok.

The restaurant serves traditional Chinese food and been in the midtown for years. Most people came here for their famous Peking duck. It is good, nothing unique or creative. Just very authentic and old-fashion Peking duck. The atmosphere is always nice and friendly.

We have a Peking Duck Christmas Eve tradition, and this year the first time we’ve been to Peking Duck House in Midtown. We thought that since the location was in Midtown, the menu and ambiance would be more elevated than it’s Chinatown location. Unfortunately, it was just more bland.

Hot and Sour Soup was neither hot nor sour. The duck was good, but a little greasy. Fried Rice and Chinese Broccoli dishes were just okay. Service was slow and abrupt, so we either were looking around for someone or feeling rushed out. In the end, this place still feels like it should be in Chinatown, and if it were, it would probably be more tasty.

A warm atmosphere, a formally dressed male waitstaff welcomes you upon arrival.
I don't know why you would order anything other than the Peking duck, for dinner.
The steamed pork dumplings are meaty and very tasty. The egg rolls were piping hot, crispy and fresh.
The duck arrives whole and is carved tableside. Your waiter then wraps up with quick ease your duck role. The crisp skin and tender succulent duck meat, pancake, scallions and sauce makes for a wonderful experience.
Unless you order dessert, the meal is finished with slices of fresh orange and fortune cookies.
I have no idea or why they don't provide the complete leftover duck. It's kinda of a Rip off. The amount that is charged they should package all the duck for you.
