Some black grease came out of the extractor pipe and the waiter had a very bad attitude and didn't care when he saw it. The meat was not fresh and the Ox tongue was very, very thin. Will never come here again.

Very bad experience, we’ve been waiting for our food for 40 mins and the quality wasn’t meeting the expectation. It seems that our order wasn’t being cooked until we asked the staff. Also the inconsistency as well. Last time we’ve ordered the spicy pork belly it came with rice and lettuce, but this time only the pork belly set. The staff can’t communicate with English proficiently as well I had to explain multiple times but the staff still can’t understand.

Efficient ordering through QR code, clean establishment, well presented, and appeared recently re-fitted. Friendly actual Korean speaking wait and kitchen staff! I cannot fault the dishes (Kalguksu and Spicy Beef Soup) we ordered, tasty and perfectly seasoned as expected. I was pleasantly surprised by the banchan dish, which included japchae! Definitely recommend and will return.

This is our second visit and we enjoyed everything as usual. Loved the Kimchi Pancake, Steamed Egg and the wagyu beef were tender.

Nice and friendly staff.

The food was soooo good! I’ve been here several times and every time I ordered cold Noodles and BBQ set because you served it with side dish. (a lot!!), Korean BBQ is the best!!! That’s why I really like Korean food.💖My friends and I really enjoyed it. Staffs are so kind and take care us very well. Thank you so much Soyoung ☺️☺️ I well definitely come again.

We didn't have a booking. But they were kind enough to find us a table.

The service was fantastic. And the food was sublime.

They talked us through what to expect, how to use the vents and the recommended cook times (as the charcoal gets hotter over time).

They checked on us regularly to see that we had everything we needed, but they were also not at all pushy or overbearing, which is always a fear.

They also replaced the grill plate regularly so that the food didn't stick or start tasting burnt.

The food was sublime, we bought two of the 4 person pork and wagyu combo boxes. And it was delicious. Everything was precut, but they also provided tongs and scissors in case you wanted smaller portions.

The sides were almost as delicious as the meats, with kimchi, fermented leaves, noodles, salad etc. and they didn't skimp, when we finished our sides they brought us another round!

We also had a few too many drinks 🥃

Definitely would recommend this experience again!

First time to dine in this restaurant.
They don’t have Assorted pancakes coz lack of ingredients.
Asked staff about - how about the other Maru branch probably got this one
If they do have this item, suggest and wondering they can get that one from different branches so they still can sell it to customers.

Staff-leader replied :They are not same as other Maru restaurant so she doesn’t know and if I want to have it I can get that one in that Maru branch.

What a pity. I asked that question coz I like Maru and I want it to make money 💰

Prohibited to bring any outside drinks.

Even though food and place environment is good but Customer’s service depends on their mood.
