Sweet Maple

This is the only place open in the part of Vancouver airport where I need to wait for my flight. The sell hot dog, (711 style self serve) for $9. They sell a croissant I could eat in one or two bites for $7. Not happy with this price gouging vendor or Vancouver airport for only having limited selection of food , all pretty bad, and badly overpriced.

Overpriced

Mouse running in dine-in/customer sitting area which I was shocked and cannot believe. Even their staff totally hasn’t any reaction after I told them. The store beside D50 in the center of Vancouver Airport.

1. Only hot food is hot dogs.
2. Refused service for a beer. They were closing at 2:00pm on a Friday afternoon!!! Would have thought airport services would have some criteria for service hours for their travelers.

No hot dogs

Bought what was labeled as "Hearty Vegan Wrap", I was stoked as I had been traveling for 2 days and had not had a proper meal due to limited vegan options. Saved it for the plane and after takeoff I opened it up, took two huge bites. Only after did I notice the wrap was filled with beef. Was nearly sick afterwards in the airplane bathroom. This is unacceptable, if someone has serious food allergies this could have been a much worse situation.

A gift shop in the duty free area inside the Vancouver international airport. Great place to get some snacks, gifts and others.

Slightly expensive as expected, however a nice place.....
