Amazing food amazing portions friendly warm welcoming staff cheap prices fast service will definitively be back

Honestly, the food here is really good, the lamb shoulder n rice n the fish Somoza’s were sublime! Proper home made fresh delicious food! Careful of their signature sauce, it’s explosively but nice👊🏾

Short review: great food, fast service, good prices. Definitely recommend!
Small Somali restaurant my friend introduced me to. I got the soup of the day as an appetiser and slow cooked lamb with rice as a main, with speciality tea after.
The soup of the day was a lamb bone broth with lemon, and it was DIVINE. So delicious, so warming. They bring this amazing chili sauce you can add to it which makes it absolutely perfect. (Be warned - it is very spicy! Only add one small teaspoon at a time!) I would come back just for that soup as it's the best I've ever had. And only £1.50!
The lamb shoulder was very tender and the rice was really well seasoned. The veg sprinkled on top was just right. For the rice, it's recommend to mix in a few teaspoons of the chili sauce (again - it's very hot so don't add lots in one go). Bananas were brought to the table with the option of adding them to the rice, but I didn't try it. £10 for a very large portion.
We had some kind of Somali tea with milk, cardamom and cinnamon at the end. I don't know what it was, but it was lovely.

I came here at the recommendation of a Somali Uber driver who told me about the place after I asked him where in London I could try his country's cuisine. The service was friendly and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the lamb shoulder, the mufo, and the soup with basbaas chilli sauce. We were the only non-Somalis there, so it is the real deal!

Great place with delicious Somali food. The place is small but is manageable. The food was quite impeccable and staff were very friendly and helpful.

First time trying Somali food. Enjoyed the food. The Rice and meat was delicious and flavorsome. Plenty of locals which is always a good sign. Only downside was the the place needs new refurbishment.

Popped in as I was in the area. I didn’t see a menu but saw what someone else was eating and as it looked good I had that. Lovely Somali food at very reasonable price. 5 pounds for a delicious meat stew, Somali chapati and small salad. Took extra portion home. I’ll certainly be back.
