It's very historical, but feels like it needs to be modernised a little for young children/adults to like it too..

The Royal Pump Rooms in Leamington Spa is a beautifully restored historic site that offers a fascinating glimpse into the town's rich spa heritage. Originally built in 1814 as a spa bath and pump room, it has been transformed into a cultural center that houses an art gallery, museum, library, and café. Visitors can explore exhibits detailing the history of Leamington Spa’s Victorian spa culture and view various artifacts related to the era. The art gallery features changing exhibitions, often showcasing regional and contemporary works. The building itself is a gem of Regency architecture, and its riverside location near Jephson Gardens adds to its charm. Overall, the Royal Pump Rooms is a must-visit for anyone interested in history, art, or simply looking for a pleasant day out in a picturesque setting.

We spent time with our friends in this wonderful cafe. We really liked everything. The children rested, ate, played and we are happy.

My friends and I visit this cafe everyday for a takeaway coffee and lunch whilst we work in the library. Normally a great experience, most of the staff very nice. Today, 10 minutes before the library opened we went to the cafe and got a drink in this nearly empty cafe. After 5 minutes the owner came over to us and very rudely said we could not stay here as we have only bought one drink and gave us a talk on how we were damaging her business. Would have been very happy to buy more drinks if the owner had been nicer! Safe to say we will not be coming back.

It was a lovely base for my first ever visit to Leamington, great choice of snacks and beverages with beautiful views of the Park and old Town. My only issue, considering there were plenty of staff they were slow at clearing tables between diners.

ICONIC building in leamington that has been turned in to a cafe at the front and a library at the back.
Lovely venue near the river and the beautiful pump room gardens opposite. On the bottom of main parade 5 / 10 mins walk from the main shopping area however definitely the nicest part of town & a good meeting place .

Nice building with plenty of historical value. I use to swim here over 30 years ago. All of the staff seemed pleasant. My only moan was the latte I had was served in a glass with no handle. A hot drink should have a handle. The cost was £3.10p and was rather small. So, not value for money. The cafe was also very noisy with the coffee grinder next to the till. The cake was very dry so not sure how fresh it was. All in all expensive if you just want a coffee and cake I would choose somewhere else in the future.
