Turkish Halal Food Centre

I went to this Turkish supermarket the other day to order a half a cow for an occasion which is a big order and you expect a bit of attention when talking to butchery staff because in the end you’ll spend lots of money in there. However, the attitude of the head staff in the meat section was disappointing. I was asking about different part of a cow and what meat sections includes in a half a cow and that was because I didn’t know what meat sections includes in a half cow so needed some information before my order. Every time he answered me with a rude behaviour and acting like I am stupid to ask such questions. I mean, this might be simple for him to know all these suff because this is his profession but not everyone is gonna know that. He was not bothering to help me out with my order and I felt like if ask one more question he is gonna kick me out and I only had 2 questions by then. He definitely needs to be more smiley, friendly and respectful to the customers who come there to spend their money in their butchery. The owner of the supermarket is a friendly and respectful man and always helps you when you ask something and I like their products. So these 3 stars are for him and his products. Butchery doesn’t get any star unfortunately

Do not buy any meat and chicken from this store, we had lambs and thank god im pregnant and I didn’t fancy any but my husband got food poison im going to the police tomorrow right now im going to the hospital, the prices are high as well.

We used to buy meat and chicken from there.. their beef is too gud..
It's better to buy a portion of goat or lamb other than mixed mutton..
Mixed mutton does not taste good.

It’s a one stop shop for anything Indian and Pakistani. The best part about this place is that it is the most cleanest place you can shop for your daily needs. And also the best place in Reading to get Bakavas. Friendly environment and very helpful staff.

Great shop with lots of product variety at competitive prices, friendly staff and plenty of fresh produce. The butcher has the best meats too!

Huge store with a vegetable section at the front selling a varied selection of general and exotic produce. Heading to the back you will find a store containing a vast range of food products of middle Eastern origin. If you are after something a little different from your typical supermarket fare at competitive prices - this food centre is well worth a visit. Its located on the Oxford Road about 10 minutes from the Penta Hotel.

This is the best Indian shop in town, the meat shop inside is outstanding. I would personally recommend the marinated lamp chops and the goat and mutton. This isn't cheap but it is worth every penny as the quality is exceptional.
The whole place has everything yous ever need from spices to naan bread and baklava to Ayran.
I wouldn't go anywhere else in Reading.
