Disappointing Experience

I visited here for a take away lunch, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Upon arrival, the place was crowded, which I initially took as a good sign, but it quickly turned into a frustrating wait.

I ordered two meal parcels: one with fish fry and one with fish egg, along with tapioca. The lady at the counter was incredibly slow, and after asking about my order three times, she finally realized she had forgotten to send it to the kitchen. It took about 30 minutes for my order to be ready, which felt excessive given the circumstances.

When I got home and opened the parcels, I was disappointed to find that the curries were minimal. I received only sambar, buttermilk, and buttermilk curry, with no dal curry or fish curry included. The quantity of curry was also insufficient, making it quite challenging to finish the meals.

Overall, I expected a lot more from here, especially given the crowd. The slow service, missing items, and inadequate portions really detracted from the experience. I hope they can improve their service and consistency in the future.

It's a great place for a seafood lunch in Trivandrum. They offer a variety of fried fish dishes. I tried their Meenmutta Fry, and it was excellent. The place can get crowded at noon, so there might be a waiting time due to limited seating capacity. The Meenmutta Fry we had cost ₹200. While I felt the portion was a bit small, I was still satisfied with the taste. The service is excellent as the staff manage the crowd well and are happy to explain the different varieties of fish multiple times if needed. However, I felt something was missing from the usual side dishes, as they seem to focus more on their special fish fries. Overall, I was delighted with my fish fry meal.

Fresh homely food provided at reasonable prices. Best place to have kerala meals. They serve rice with sambar,rasam, curd, aviyal, pickle, fish curry gravy, tapioca curry and payar thoran in plantain leaf. meals cost ₹80.Rice and curries unlimited. Food is tasty and hot.Extra charge for specials ( prawns, mackerel fry, squid etc.) Overall if you are searching for homely fresh Kerala meals this place is a must try. Staff is also well mannered. Hygiene is kept. There is amble dining space. Suitable for family dining.

A very crowded place but the food is excellent. Their sea food varieties and preparation is top notch. Tried tuna fry and prawns fry both of which were awesome. Service is quick and responsive. No dedicated parking available. Maybe bit difficult to find parking for 4 wheelers.

Excellent food!! More fried varieties of fish than curry. Prawns theeyal and neymeen curry was of good taste. Had lots of fried items with crushed chilly flakes added to the spiciness!!

Kappa and fish curry went well!!

Btw there are two outlets adjacent to each other one with more space around!
