Place is ok and gets busy later on. If you are sitting at a table you have to go to the bar to get served. If you want food you have to go to a food truck at the back of the place. Guy working the truck was very confused and I’m pretty sure on drugs or medication of some sort. That itself was an ordeal. Go for the music. That’s the best part of this place. Everything else is sub par.
Great little music bar with an en suite food truck. Bartender and staff efficient and friendly.

For high energy, vibrant and live Blues music in Austin every day of the week, visit Friend’s Bar. There are tacos in the back and they are excellent!!! Seriously underrated.
Went last night to see the Sonny Wolf Trio. It was a blend of classic blues and blues-based rock covers. The rhythm section was solid as a rock and their talent definitely shined, but the guitar work was amazing. The raspy voice on vocals, the showmanship, it’s exactly what you want from a live blues-rock experience. The venue was great too, with great sound and good drinks (did not sample the food) but for me, the experience was Sonny Wolf. Make it a point to see them.

Been here a few times while visiting Austin. Great atmosphere and seems to always have good bands playing.
The food is simple fare, but does the trick when you've had a few beers.

We really liked this friendly place with great live music every day, from the Sunday night blues jam to local cool bands playing blues rock etc. Very welcoming to out of town era like us.
