Hamsa Tattoo

I found my happy place here at Hamsa! I was lucky a few years back and got a last minute booking with Bobbie due to a cancellation and I’ve never looked back! It always feels like safety/belonging first and then tattooing second, it’s what I love most about this place. Always lots of open and clear communication throughout the whole process. This would be a wonderful studio for first time folks. Super queer friendly too. And then, the work! I can’t get enough of the art that Bobbie creates. I’ve got three pieces in total that are all becoming one! I really enjoy her process. Studio is super clean and organised. Highly recommend!

Never been a to a tattoo shop like it. I’ve been tattooed by Bobbie (who has now tattooed my entire head), Clair and Kane and couldn’t be happier with the work, the welcoming environment and the cleanliness and professionalism from everyone in the studio.

From the minute you walk in, you feel like you’re in a familiar place and Caitlin does a fantastic job of making you feel very comfortable.

I've been to see Bobbie a few times and each time is truly a delight. Easily one of my best tattooing experiences, she always makes me feel really comfortable, the design process is super collaborative, she really takes her time with the design and stencil but when it comes to the actual tattoo she's so fast! The studio is gorgeous (and full of snacks) and I couldn't feel more comfortable.

Bobbie and the crew at Hamsa are not only great at tattooing, they have created an environment that is safe, welcoming and fun. I've gotten a tattoo from multiple artists that work here and have been super happy with every experience. If you're thinking about getting a tattoo from a Hamsa artist go for it!

What sets Hamsa apart from other studios for me is the depth of their passion for their craft and the cultures and stories that inspire their work. I got a hamsa hand (fitting, I know) tattoo, and the whole experience from booking to design and the session itself were all so easy and seamless, and it was reassuring to know that my artist is well-versed in the art of my heritage 🙏🏽

My favorite tattoo studio in Melbourne. They are so warm and welcoming, & make you feel so safe and relaxed.

I have seen several artists here (Bobbie, Khrys, Clair) and they were all excellent at what they do. They are also completely neuroaffirming and disability friendly.

I have collected some of my favorite tattoos here and I genuinely look forward to coming here each time. I frequently recommend them to people I know!

The front desk staff are also incredibly lovely and welcoming people which makes for an overall great experience every time.

Bobbie is genuinely one of the kindest, friendliest tattoo artists I have come across and makes every effort to make you feel comfortable. The whole studio has a super friendly, cheerful vibe - as soon as you walk in you feel instantly welcomed. Bobbie’s tattoo work is next level - her tattoos are simply incredible and I can’t wait to get more in the future.
