The Stags Head Pub And Grill

I ordered nachos and they were legit the worst nachos I have ever had. I had to send the first one back because they put this weird extremely spicy green salsa on it. Oh and I had to wait 45 minutes for this garbage to come out. Anyways I sent it back and the nachos that came out were worst than the first batch. The cheese wasn’t even melted, the nacho chips were overcooked and there were huge chunks of veggies on it. I wouldn’t even recommend going there to get a drink. Terrible terrible.

Love me a good dive bar and Stag's fits the bill. I go for the $2 pool. The servers are always sweet and the drinks are nicely-priced. BTW if ever you see a dude playing the worst pool game you've ever seen, come by and say hi.

Food was good, we got the Stag's platter I think it was called. Clean, good servers. It was a little busy so the wait time wasn't bad. They have a pool table, darts and TV's.

Damon didn't need to treat me to a steak dinner that one day. Felt like a couple brothers breaking bread. I'll never forget the man, as I'm sure anyone who met him likely won't.
Walked by this place for the first time as a kid,
Thought the musicians were the most talented people I had seen live so far playing on the outdoor patio. Hendrix covers that blew my little mind... Who I was later in life able to impress those very musicians, a landmark in my life.
A place that has a feel. History that I wish the walls could share.

Stag’s is an honest, down-to-earth place to go. Great prices on drinks, and they know how to use a deep fryer (I have a thing for french fries - onion rigs too). Nuthin’ fancy, but I always leave happy.

Food is amazing yes downtown Oshawa pub is actually amazing food 😍🤩 I am always impressed 💯😁 the servers are quick witty and usually don't leave you sitting very long at all. Notice empty drinks Right away a plus :) the people are nice but alot of drama for a bar. I have not been in some time but if they had more care about what kind of people they let in they would do way better it has a reputation as a dive bar. Which is definitely definitely is. That Said, the food is great the drinks are strong and cheap. They have pool. I wouldn't bring kids here to much drunkenness even for a bar they have people fall down drunk at 2 pm. The owners are nice too. Servers are great 👍 some are more friendly then others but they all are good at their job. Close to bus and lots of parking

I don't normally leave a bad review.
But this place needs to hear it .not impressed to say the least.
Maybe because I'm not a local, but I sat at the bar for 5 minutes before the waitress noticed me. I almost left (should have).
Asked for a Guinness she started pouring it all wrong, stopped halfway, than forgot to come back (almost left again)
Anyway I won't be back!
Also didn't even ask if I wanted a menu .
