Sint Joris restaurant

Heerlijk gegeten! We waren met een grote groep dus moesten ietsje langer wachten. Maar dat was het dubbel en dwars waard!

STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND SINT JORIS.
We are Asians and told one of the staff (white guy) for a table for two. We were very hungry. He directed us to a very dirty table. I asked him if he can clean the table. He went to get a disinfectant spray and spray the table, including me and my bag! I am very upset and disgusted about the treatment i have experienced. It is our first time here in Bruges as a tourist and we only want to experience the food and place. We walked away and went to nearby restaurant called Bistro- Brasserie and we were warmly welcomed there.

This happened around 1:45pm on September 3, 2023. To the management please tell your staff to STOP BEING RACIST! What a SHAME! Hope you will not experience racism when you visit to another country. Karma is waving remember that. What goes around comes around.

Overcooked burgers that we waited 1+ hour for. No apology for slow service. Fries aren’t even Belgian style but the only re things about food here. Lady working was nice and teenage waitstaff cordial. Beer poured was half head and when asked for a repour, it was 1/4 head. Shocking for Belgium that they cannot properly pour beer. Shrimp croquettes taste like smushed fish sticks with beer cheese. Better to wait in line at Frites (the similar to McDonald’s chain) for a burger. Perhaps traditional mussels are the way to go. 72 euros wasted. Bathrooms clean.

The place for worst Beef stew!!!
Want to taste the worst ever beef stwe with a rubbish service accompanied with unbearable chips(fries) don't go anywhere else, head straight to Sint Joris, classic example of a place that flourish on the excellent location and people pay for the location but not for food!

Worst omelet ever. Asked for ham&cheese; ham only served. Burned! Bread wasn't served with it. Did I mention it was burned? No one came to check on us, so I ate it as I was hungry. When I mentioned this to the server, he just shrugged.

Very friendly staff, and delicious food. Had the local specialties (Vlaamse beer, waterzooi and a waffle) and it was all delicious. Nice inside dining but a even more lovely terrace looking out onto the square. Really nice pick for a big lunch, dinner, or drinks while you're in Brugge. Will probably be back next trip.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch here. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Everything we ordered tasted deliciously made. The Flemish Stew was particularly tasty.
