Horrible. Took so long to get a simple order of fingers and fries with only one order ahead. Took 12 minutes before they stared my order. Painful really. Food is average.

The euro dog taste isn’t my favourite but that’s no reason to reduce the stars rating. I’m sure it’s a great flavour to someone else. The all beef was very delicious would order again. Was going to give 4 stars until I read the owners reply throwing shade and telling the reviewer to stick with eating fast food take out. Back up to 5 stars! Bravo Weinerpeg owners. Bravo!

The pork itself? *chef’s kiss*

That’s where it ends for me. The flavours are underwhelming and clash: the food is under-spiced yet too sweet, and the root beer is over-spiced; though if you’re used to bland food, you may quite enjoy it. The textures are fine.

The service is not good. There was no one waiting in line in front of us and we didn’t see anyone there as we were walking up, but it still took them over five minutes to acknowledge we were even there. Once they did, the worker was friendly and courteous, but we weren’t even offered napkins when we picked up our food.

The prices are WAY higher than we expected as the menu on Google hasn’t been updated… likely since they opened shop (nearly $50 for two people only). And this has more to do with The Forks venue itself, but literally EVERYTHING here is sticky.

Lastly, how can it be named after our great city and not have honey dill anywhere on the menu? 🤔

This was the first stop I made after arriving in Winnipeg and I am so delighted to have had this welcome to the city. My family takes poutine very seriously (who doesn’t?) and I had seen Wienerpeg show up on a few Winnipeg poutine Reddit threads. We all picked the Wienerpeg special, and the fresh dill + cheese curd combo was perfection. We added on the classic poutine and it was the right choice. Squeaky curds, flavorful gravy, delicious fries. All this paired with the vibrant atmosphere of the market made for a great night. I am certain we will end up back here throughout our visit this week.

Friendly staff good service. Food wasn't worth it by far. 2 hotdogs over $20. Packed with toppings but it's mostly bread. Beef Weiner was of good quality but was small. Use smaller buns less bread ratio and you would have something.

Nice service ordering, cashier staff are super friendly and social, figured I’d try it out as it’s new.

Got a bison dog and was pretty disappointed, huge half melted blob on cheese on it. Mustard wasn’t super enjoyable as there was to much and I wasn’t sure if it was a horseradish pesto combo but it was tough to get the first couple bites down. Didn’t finish.

My partner got a corn dog and had about two bites and she loves corn dogs but this one didn’t do the trick.

We tried the sodas as well but didn’t find them to be worth the second chance. Left them

Fries were blanched but not really fried or crispy. Can’t say I’d recommend it. Not a great experience for $36.

Bison Weiner!? Everything about this spot is a bit of heaven, the kind of fast, affordable food you’d expect at a market like this.

Unique, delicious, even their pickles were memorable.

I had the Vanilla Cream Soda - blast from the past (little like Hairy Putter’s butter beer?)
