I want to share my experience after purchasing a particular tour. During the tour, I was disappointed to see dolphins, sharks, and rays confined in cages in the ocean, which I believe is illegal.
The most absurd part was the interaction with the rays, where tourists were required to enter the water and have a ray placed on their bodies for a photo op, with the photographer instructing them on how to pose.
I also saw very disappointed families who purchased the "swimming with dolphins in the ocean" experience and discovered that dolphins are in cages!
It is clear that by purchasing experience with this company, you support the inhumane treatment of animals!
I sincerely hope those responsible for this tour will be held accountable for their actions.

Jail for dolphin and sharks, rays

I got tricked into buying the “experience”. I asked the travel agent where do the dolphins live, she responded and showed me the big area in the ocean, roam free. Swimming with dolphins in my imagination is that we stay in the water, dolphins will come by and gather around

Reality: they trapped these poor dolphins in a square and taught them to do tricks in exchange for food! Such a terrible action! These dolphins live in 6-7 ft of water

Worst : Reef sharks are here too. Living in a cage as well, 3ft deep max. This is absolutely a crime

Places like this exist because we pay them money to be in business. I feel so bad for falling in their traps. Please do read review before you go!

Terrible experience!

This is an ALL DAY experience, it was so much fun! A crew of swash buckling Buccaneers that fought,sang pirate songs, and danced!!!!! Snorkeling, stingray, Counter, swimming with sharks, dancing singing, having a great time it was the best!

Our experience was amazing. We were a big group, 16 people total and really had a wonderful time. The trainers are incredible, is amazing the great job they do with almost no resources, also how well they treat the Dolphins. I had experience with other Dolphins encounter before here in Punta Cana but not like this one. This place and this people are the best

Swimming with sharks and stingrays was amazing. The parasailing was exhilarating and the drinks were great on this excursion . Have fun!

We did the sailing splash excursion and had a great time. It was a really fun trip and our guide William was really fun. The snorkeling was great, the speed boat ride was fun but a little short, and the food and boat ride/dancing were great. However, when we pulled up to the platform they immediately told us we couldn’t take photos which made me feel like something was off. (They also charge you $80 for the photos they take which is steep) The stingrays/dolphins are kept in captivity in a smaller than expected area however they are still in the ocean. The animals seemed to be pretty well cared for and not in terrible distress. I had no idea that the stingray part was even part of the excursion so it was a surprise. Not sure how those animals arrived there but just hoping it’s more of a rescue situation than just capturing them. The platform around the tank isn’t that high and the dolphins can jump higher so I’m just surprised they don’t try to jump out. Just hope the animals are cared for and happy. That is all!

Pricy but great controlled environment.
Getting tickets; I would recommend to get direct. Do not rely on the travel agent. He gave me wrong timing and wastes almost 2 hours which I could’ve used in way better way.
