Great party.

But as we weren't allowed to go outside to my car, something that was always possible, we were stuck inside with our outdoor cloths (rushed inside to see one gig), food was terrible (even the Mac was better).
Sound had too much hick-ups over the weekend.

I went to see Megadeth here on the 24th of June. We sat outside for 4 hours to get in the front row. 1 hour before the concert, staff stepped out and started yelling at us to stand on the stairs and they put up tape. The procedure itself isn't tragic but they didn't write any numbers on us or have a sorting system. This resulted in people squeezing to the front and getting in earlier, than people who've sat there for hours... The security is stricter than i would've thought. They do a proper bag check. The hall gets extremely hot inside but the acoustics are incredible!

Awesome place for consert! No lines at the doors and security professional. Many bars to have a drink. Little hot if weather is warm.

Very industrial vibe, surprisingly decent acoustics for concerts and a good time overall.

Pro Tip: Going up the stairs at the back will let you snag a better view by going down on the sides near the center during more crowded times. We had a permanently active safety light but a fantastic view. Moving to the back middle at the top will also sometimes net you a fantastic view albeit being a bit far away. See photos.

Parking is sometimes a little limited depending on the amount of people attending.

I attended a metal concert here and decided to take a walk from Oberhausen Hbf, which took around 20 min.
The venue is not massively big (Turbinenhalle I ca. 1500 attendants), so you will have a chance to be close to the stage in front.
The venue itself is a refurbished old powerplant, and keeps its industrial facade, so the entrance looks old and could be more attractive. But this keeps its mystique.
There are several very clean WCs, and a locker room that works on a ticket system: You buy tickets that can be used for beers or locker.
There is a parking lot right in front, and in the vicinity, you can find Mcdonald's, a very tasty Döner Kebap, and a higher-profile sushi restaurant.

Had a great time seeing Ice Nine Kills. Venue for the music is good, sound was good, viewing wasn't awful, however it's all standing so it depends where you stand.

Buying tickets to buy drinks is a bit silly, and drinks are overpriced as usual. Also the parking ticket said €3, but we were charged €5. But parking is very close and not awful yo get out of.

Been there in Turbinehalle Oberhausen for the very first time last Saturday 17.12.2022 to watch the live wrestling show (WXM 22nd Anniversary).. I was totally fasinated by the facilities available inside the hall for example sound quality, lights, toiletteries, bars and so on.

But I'd suggest the management team of the Turbinehalle to place enough dustbins and to clean the toilet facilities frequently to maintain the hygiene and cleanliness.

Furthermore, the parking facility is available but not properly maintained.
