This is THE best chase branch in all of DC!!!! Just try them!!!! The staff is super friendly, smile and they are professional. I have been coming here for years now, the location is awesome and there is an amazing amount of space inside the branch to chill and conduct your business. Tonya, Max and Tito are always ready to help in any way possible! You can even get foreign currency here which is really awesome. The FX is a little more expensive than ordering through BofA but the normal since you can just walk in and ask for GBP or EUR etc. Thank you to everyone at this branch, it is honestly what has made me use Chase versus others!!!!!

Worthless. Door won’t open with a Chase card, multiple people tried. AVOID.

As a business owner, I was evaluating banking options. Chase was the most difficult to work with during the research phase and short stint as a business client. First, I tried to set-up an appointment but no one answered my calls/messages. Then, I went into the branch and finally set-up an appointment but had to come back. The general tone of emails/in person exchanges was indifference. I ended up setting up an account but it was set-up incorrectly that lead to hours on the phone with Chase 1-800's instead of help from the banker. It's unfortunate to have to write this review considering I used to work for JPMorgan and own a lot of stock. I ended up closing my account.

Updated review: Chase needs to hire better teams in DC. Atrocious service. They simply don't care. It's 2019, I shouldn't have to walk into the branch every time someone at Chase makes a mistake. Instead of tackling a task, they waste your time and play hot potato, passing an issue from person to person without solution... As a shareholder and a loyal CC customer, the NY Avenue branch sucks.
I love their credit card support. Their banking support leaves a lot to be desired.
0 stars for this location. I literally was on hold to be re-directed from one person to another and again to the general support number. THEY DON"T CARE.

Terrible service. Expect better service from Chase. When I entered, I spoke to 2 individuals all of whom spent 10 minutes giving me reasons why I shouldn't meet with a banker and call Chase instead. I did that already and they told me to go to a branch. There was nobody else there so they weren't busy. Felt very uncomfortable and didn't like their lack of professionalism.

Either wait for the rest of the DC branches to open or choose another bank altogether. I made two "appointments" which is really not appointments. They put your name in a black book and they are supposed to call and confirm the appointment. But guess what? No one calls you to confirm and you end up showing up anyway with no one to assist you. The only true services available are through the ATM. I saw one customer depositing a check, she had to sit down and complete her transaction amongst other customers sitting right by her. This is lack of privacy.
I truly doubt I will be a customer for long, I will keep the minimum required and eventually close my account. If you are looking for a savings account try Discover Savings which has over 1% yield, Chase only has .001% yup you read that correctly.

Find a better bank. Chase makes sure to let you know your not a 'Premier Client' while being quick to collect on fees and penalties.
