Long trail for biking/walking through First Landing State park and on to Virginia Beach along Atlantic Ave. Most of the trail is paved, some is gravel. Lots of nature to see.
Great variety of Ranger Programs, many volunteers, and great friendly service! Several beautifully maintained trail markers, informational placards, and boardwalks.
Beautiful trails and hiking routes. There's many different routes you can go and the scenery is great during the spring and summer months.
I love this place. My childhood friends and I used to take our bikes down these trails and volunteer during clean the Bay day. Enjoy, watch out for snakes, and don't litter! :)
Great trail walk/jog for family friends and dogs! Plenty of beautiful trails and beaches to explore. Beaches to swim and fish. Boat ramps also!
As of August 2020, This trail needs maintenance. It has a lot of mud bogs and is almost impassable in many spots. I’ve been in it in years past when it had hard packed crush and run gravel. That’s almost gone now.
