Good staple indian food, quantity is very good as compared to price , must try fish (jhol)

Not too good, but price is affordable
Situated just opposite to Kolkata Medical college. This canteen was a really good food option during since 1975. They offered good tea with butter toast during morning hours. The teast is still memorable. Now they are running Hotel during lunch and dinner hours. They were really famous for fish fry, fish kabiraji, motton kassa etc. Hospital staffs and Doctors of Medical College were frequent visitor of this canteen during several decades.
