My friends, who had eaten at this place raved about the chicken, so I ordered it. It was severely overcooked. It was as dry as shredded cardboard. I ate the leg and fries and brought the rest home for my dog. I would have sent it back, but did not want to inconvenience the parties eating with me. Chicken over 165 degrees is overcooked. The soufflé was over baked as well. I mentioned it to the waiter and I may as well have not said anything.

We been to this restaurant since it opened and progressively the service and the attitude had gotten wore with every experience.
Today we waited over an hour for our food, not single apologies from the waiter or the manager
Never got our food and we walked out. .

What a special treat... French food that was well prepared and offered... Had the Lamb Chops with Pommes Frites which was cooked perfectly (very thin fries... if you love the French style). Escargot were tender and tasty. My wife had the Chicken Picante which was moist and tender... and finished with an Apple Tart, also delicious. Beyond the food being really good, the service was attentive, the ambiance feels like a small quaint bistro in France... and the wine list is really good and very fair prices... 100% mark up or $20 corkage fee, which is more than fair. As a comparison Mistral a block away has a $40 corkage and 250% mark up on their wine.
Would recommend for either a casual meal or an elegant night out! My only issue was the meal itself was a bit pricy but expected as much and comparable to other restaurants.

We were watching the food network and they were making soufflé. We were originally going to go somewhere else but decided we were now in the mood for soufflé. We called the restaurant and were lucky to make a reservation for 8pm. That's what they had available. We arrived half an hour early and they seated us immediately which was amazing because the place was packed. The atmosphere was wonderful! We were relaxed and happy to be there. There seemed to be a lot of people celebrating birthdays. Including my twins that on the eve of their 21st birthday. At this restaurant you don't have a waiter, you have the entire staff making sure you are taken care of. We loved it. From the recommendations to the superb taste of food and the on point attention, this would be a restaurant I go back to over and over again!

5/17/2023 The ambience is coozy and beautiful. The waitress, Alina from New York, is very friendly.
Will come back for its two-course Lobster dinner at $45.99 per person Monday to Tuesday only soon.

Easily in my top 3 favorite French restaurants in the valley. I would say it’s very similar, but better, to Mistral a block away on the same street. Petit Trois down the road is still my favorite but I would say Le Petit is solidly my #2. The crowd is a bit older than the other bistros, I’m in my 30’s and was the youngest in the dining room tonight, so the pace is a bit different, but the service is the best I have had in the valley. Our server Petr was fantastic and so was the maître d’ and everyone else we encountered. Parking in the area can be tricky but they do have valet out front. We found street parking 4 short blocks away so I can’t complain.
I started off with the summer Gazpacho and loved it. It was chunkier and less acidic than traditional Gazpacho, but I’d happily order it again. Next came the Merguez Sausages in harissa and that too was delicious. I’m a huge fan of that flavor combination and the sausages were deep in flavor and snappy. For my entrée I chose the John Dory with lemon butter tomato caper sauce it and was a great end to the meal with a good sized portion. We topped off the meal with a chocolate soufflé because soufflés are my favorite dessert and this one did not disappoint.
Overall it was a delicious meal with wonderful service and fair pricing. I would recommend to anyone for any occasion, although it can get very loud and due to the small size I would not suggest it for a business meal.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Le Petit Restaurant. This charming French establishment truly captures the essence of France. I made reservations for a special birthday celebration one week in advance and requested a specific table, which they graciously accommodated. Upon arrival, we took advantage of their convenient valet service for $13, eliminating any parking worries.
As we entered, the hostess warmly greeted us, already aware of our special occasion. The restaurant's cozy ambiance resembled a rustic French country kitchen, adding to the overall charm. We opted for a delightful 6-course meal to fully immerse ourselves in French cuisine.
Our culinary journey began with the Bigeye Ahi Tuna Tartare, a perfect blend of fatty and lean tuna topped with creamy avocado. The second course, Black Mussels Poulette in a rich white wine reduction with shallot sauce, was generously portioned and could easily suffice as a main dish at $16.95.
To cleanse our palates, we enjoyed a Caesar salad before delving into the main courses. Our knowledgeable waiter expertly guided us through wine pairings and recommended a bottle of 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape, perfectly complementing each dish.
After the appetizers, we indulged in the main courses. The fifth course featured a delectable Crispy Duck paired with wild rice, haricots verts, baby carrots, and a delightful fusion of orange and Grand Marnier priced at $39.95. Following that, we savored a 16oz Creekstone USDA Prime Angus Ribeye Steak as our next entrée, accompanied by a cognac black peppercorn sauce and pommes frites for $54.95.
As we approached the final course, we were treated to a heavenly Soufflé au Chocolat, served with vanilla bean ice cream, chocolate and vanilla sauces, and a dollop of whipped cream. This decadent dessert provided a fitting conclusion to our exquisite dining experience at Le Petit Restaurant, leaving us thoroughly satisfied and impressed by the culinary artistry on display.
In addition to the à la carte menu, Le Petit Restaurant offers specials and set 3-course meals, as well as daily specials for those seeking a more streamlined dining experience. While opting for these options can simplify your visit, I highly recommend stepping out of your comfort zone and exploring the diverse flavors and offerings on the menu. Embracing the opportunity to try new and unique dishes can truly elevate your culinary experience and introduce you to a world of delightful flavors and textures. Don't hesitate to embark on a culinary adventure and savor the full range of offerings that Le Petit Restaurant has to offer.
