Very informative and the floats are beautiful!
The tour guide rushed us and it was warm during the tour. We received a military discount but the ticket was still $17 each not sure what’s the regular price. The floats are amazing and the artwork was beautiful.

I want to show some of the pictures from our last trip to Mardi Gras World. The tour was cool. We were able to see the float making process from starting to finish. I would encourage anyone to go and see it while in New Orleans. We spent about an hour and a half there. The adult tickets were $22.00 and kids were $14.00.
This place was recommended for great souvenirs but would be better suited in the category of history or sight seeing. We got to see lots of old floats and special characters in the works that could be used in the Mardi Gras parade. The amount of cool displays was amazing but the warehouse was extremely hot! The tour guide was knowledgeable and answered all of our groups questions about the designs, concepts and timelines to create the floats. Overall good experience
A must see attraction in New Orleans. The history behind the floats is very interesting and our tour guide was very informative! Very fun for the family!
A very informative experience!! If you love a parade and admire floats then go here and experience this place!! We were there in August where the floats from the previous year Mardi Gras were still mostly in tact before they begin reconstruction on the new parades. Lots of photo opportunities and very informative tour Guides ours will be King next year in his Krewe :)
Interesting tour. Our tour guide was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable and had a great personality. She made the tour super interesting and entertaining. The tour was approximately one half hour to about an hour. The floats are very accessible for picture taking but you may want to keep little children close just because the sight is still an active preparation site for parade floats. Lastly that cake they offer you before you view the video in my opinion is great.
This place was cool. Got to see how they make the floats. They let you on 1 of the main floats to take pics. Our tour guide did very well explaining everything that goes on there. It's hot in there so be prepared.
