Cafe Phalam

Wholesome vegan keema lunch for my friends and I. High energy food made with lots of love. Served in a big wooden bowl, it added an earthy and grounding vibe to it. The waitress was friendly and helpful to help us checking on our options for allergy and intolerance.

A wholesome lunch and nice cosy space. Well worth it. Must try the vegan curry lunch!

Really great tasting vegan friendly meals and nice area to sit down to eat. Ordered vegan taco rice, cheeseburger, carrot cake, smoothie and coffee.

I had the most delicious salad, soy matcha, and gluten free chocolate cake I have ever had. It's a great place for people with allergies and those who don't since it has a variety of menu items. I felt comfortable dining alone, they have tatami and western seating available. The service is amazing too!

If perchance one plans a trip to the bamboo forest from the Nija / Oike area then a visit to this establishment is obligatory.

Many options on the food menu are vegan. The coffee is truly excellent. The staff are delightful.

We popping in for coffees (one hand drip and one French press) in the early morning, and we liked it so much that we returned later in the day to have lunch.

All the food (see photos) we had was top notch, especially the pickles, the burger bread and the coffee jelly (see menu).

To top it all off we chose an espresso brownie with a shot of espresso (excellent), the combination was heavenly.
