Very pretty park with a beautiful, redone playground. We were by the playground and the bathrooms were locked. There were 2 pota potties in badly need of service today. The rest of our visit was amazing.

Best walk and park with Restaurants all around and a Target! Living here is sublime and next to all the major pro sports and concert stadiums.

Took a walk today around part of this beautiful lake that is right by my work. It was led by the Sloans Lake Park Foundation, who put together a history of the man made (however accidently) it was created to the steamboat dinner cruises to Denver. Even about the amusement parks that used to exist on the shore lines. The lake has some serious issues and they ate working to get it health so maybe someday they can stock dish and have swimming again!! #savesloanslake

It’s okay for a park. The boating area is nice (with the moored dragon boats). This park is best for joggers, long-distance walkers, and cyclists. Other than that it’s not too interesting. It’s basically a marked cement path around a barren lake with few trees and mostly in the sun. My dog lost interest as well. There’s also blue-green algae currently infesting the water which makes it lethal for animals should they happen to drink from the water or bathe in it and lick themselves afterwards. It’s a long way around as well…be prepared for that.

A former local urban getaway complete with giant waterslides and a rollicking cruise, Sloans Lake Park is now surrounded by development, bordering Denver and Edgewater. The grounds are well-maintained and well lit with tennis courts, a boat jetty and other amenities. All credit goes to the City Of Denver Parks And Recreation department for upgrading the facilities several years ago and maintaining it in good condition. A cool breeze coming from the west tonight rippled waves on the lake and created a beautiful setting for a summer evening in 2023.

Great for bike riding! Flat straightaways and well maintained path. Lots of pedestrians. Edgewater offers unique and beautiful views of downtown Denver.

Great park! An easy path with beautiful views of downtown and the mountains. Took about 40-45 minutes to walk the full loop at a casual speed and stopping to take pictures. There were plenty of people around but didn’t feel crowded on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.
